Last weekend, I took an impromptu trip to Wapanocca Lake to take some pictures at sunset, and here I am, seven days later, just now processing the photos. It's been a long week. Apparently the lake is a stopover on the Mississippi Flyway, which is cool! I'll have to get some binoculars. Right now, as far as I can tell, the lake is chock full of ducks. Ducks, ducks, ducks, as far as the eye can see.
The lake is surrounded by a massive baldcypress forest that is completely flooded.
I stopped at this place for gas on the way home.
